Sapan Verma | Indian Film Festival Melbourne 2025 | Opening Monologue

hi guys, last month I got a chance to host the awards night of Indian Film Festival Melbourne in Australia. The guests included Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Jaideep Ahlawat, Malaika Arora, Shoojit Sircar, Arvind Swamy, Vikramaditya Motwane and a bunch of other film industry folks. Most of these jokes were written a day or two before, or improvised there itself. As someone who used to write scripts for award shows like IIFA, Star Screen, Filmfare etc ten years ago, it was a sweet full circle moment to be able to host one of these. It was a 3-hour long event, but I managed to get this short clip so I thought I'll share it here :) A big shoutout to @indianfilmfestivalofmelbou8986 and @VicScreen for giving me this opportunity.
